Our Story

Our journey began as an act of obedience to God’s calling. From the start, we knew we weren’t just building a business—we were creating something bigger. A company rooted in integrity, purpose, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Over time, “August” became more than a name; it became a standard—a way of doing business built on respect, trust, and service to others.

Our story in the insurance industry began over a decade ago when we quickly rose to the top of national sales leaderboards. Growth came naturally, but as the industry shifted, we saw a problem. The personal relationships that once defined insurance were being replaced by call centers with high turnover and little connection to the people they served. We knew we had to do things differently.

That’s why we built August Insurance Group—to merge the best of both worlds. For our customers, it means always having a real person who knows them and their needs. For our team, it means working in a company that values relationships as much as results. For our carrier partners, it means a commitment to high-quality business and long-term success. We leverage technology and scale without sacrificing the small-town feel. Here, expert guidance, personal relationships, and world-class service remain at the core of everything we do.
